So how many women really want a boyfriend? Well a sad answer would be none. So why do women think they need a boyfriend in the first place? Is it insecurity? Or just a sense of wanting to belong, of feeling secure?

I think it's insecurity. Society tells us that dating is for women who want a boyfriend and not for anyone else. Most guys aren't really that concerned about whether a girl will love him or not. They just want to get laid and sleep with as many women as possible before they die or lose interest in them and then end up single again.

But a lot of guys are insecure enough to think that if they date only girls who want a boyfriend, then the level of competition is very slim and the chances of meeting the kind of girl you're looking for is high. The problem with this theory is that it assumes that guys are rational, regular human beings who don't go around doing random things. We all know guys like to impress women. If a girl really is that into you, she would probably be interested in meeting other guys, so it's not necessarily true that the chances of meeting the kind of girl you're after are slim.

It's pretty much the same for women. They also go out to bars to meet other women. The problem with this theory is that it assumes that guys have control over themselves and won't screw up with any girls who are good enough for a boyfriend. I don't know about you, but I've never met a girl who wouldn't be attracted to a guy who was confident enough to walk up to a girl and ask her out. And I know plenty of guys who aren't shy about approaching and talking to girls they're interested in - it just takes a certain confidence level to do that.

Women who want a 彼氏欲しい should be extra careful about what they assume when a guy tells them they look like a good potential girlfriend. If a guy tells you that you "looks like" a great girl, trust him. Trust me, there's nothing wrong with wanting to date a confident woman. Confidence is a trait that everyone has, and one that most women can use to their advantage in the dating game.

Confidence in itself is an attractive quality, because a confident woman is more appealing than one who is not as confident. It's also a great trait to possess if you plan on getting serious with a guy and want to nurture things like the emotional bond that you guys share. So don't be afraid to take the lead when it comes to dating, and learn how to bring yourself out of your shell and into someone else's good graces.
